I have been considering getting into the podcast thing for a while but taking the time to learn it has been a barrier for me. I just read a post on Ben Yoskovitz Instigator Blog that is a very helpful breakdown of how to approach podcasting. I guess I am now left without excuse.
Mark Evans who recently moved onto greater things from the national post claimed 2006 to be the year of the video on his blog this week. YouTube really did make great shakes and something is shaking with a business model as the rumors of GOOG wanting to buy them for an amount as high as $1.6 billion...that is a whole lot of cash for something that lacks revenue.
I was at the launch of Baldhead Systems new product this week. They have got the deal for all the flat screens for VIVA and YRT here in Toronto. It is a very cool idea and seems to be more advanced than what is happening with the experimentation on the GO Train.
With so much going on in new channels for advertising I am left wondering when the content is going to evolve as much as the systems. There must be another way than all the big agencies owning the slots...
